Foreigners' Department

The activities of the Foreigners' Department are mainly:

  • invoicing or collecting cash and non-cash payments from uninsured foreigners, negotiating payments with foreign and Czech insurance companies, embassies or other organizations, arranging repatriations abroad, or cooperating with funeral services in the event of the death of a foreign patient and procedures not covered by insurance companies for foreign patients.
  • monitors legislative changes in the area of its competence and proposes measures resulting from them,
  • provides proposals and in cooperation with quality officer, issues internal management regulations in its field of competence,
  • prepares and records statistical reports within the field of competence,
  • performs other activities as instructed by the economic deputy, related to the subject of activity of the department.
  • The Foreigners' Department is represented by its head, who is an employee of the Economic Department. The Head of the Department shall be superior to the officers of the Department and shall be directly subordinate to the Economic Deputy.
  • The Head shall be responsible for the performance of the activities laid down in these Regulations and by the Economic Deputy. He/she is also co-responsible for the management of the department and for compliance with the internal regulations of the FNB in his/her department.
  • The clerks are responsible for the performance of the activities laid down in these Rules and by the Economic Deputy. They are jointly responsible for the management of the department and for compliance with the internal regulations of the FNB in their department.
