Economic Section

The Economic Department is responsible for the financial management of the hospital, and thus for financing the operation of the hospital, accounting, planning and budgeting, capital management and investment planning, asset records, reporting obligations in the hospital and to third parties, the expatriate agenda, pricing of medical and non-medical services, and self-payers. He is also responsible for the business relationship with health insurance companies (public and private) and is the guarantor of health care reporting. He manages the activities of the health departments and non-health operations in terms of their financial and production plans.
