Gender Equality Plan
Equality is one of the fundamental values of the Czech Republic. Similarly, Bulovka University Hospital subscribes to the principles of equality and equal opportunities for all its employees. Systematic work with diversity of staff, not only in terms of gender, is an integral part of FNB's HR activities.
The creation of the Bulovka University Hospital Gender Equality Plan for 2023-2028 is another step of FNB towards greater promotion of equal opportunities and diversity at all levels of the organisation. The Gender Equality Plan is a set of commitments and actions that aims to promote gender equality in the organisation, through institutional and cultural changes. The GEP has been developed in line with the objectives of multinational and national strategies and standards related to gender equality.
At the transnational level, in particular with the European Union's strategy for equality between women and men (Equality Union: Strategy for equality between women and men 2020-2028). At the national level in the Czech Republic, the GEP follows in particular the objectives of the Government's Strategy for Gender Equality 2021-2030 or the Plan for Promoting Gender Equality of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports 2021-2024.
From the point of view of the legislative framework of the Czech Republic, the FNB, through the GEP and other internal documents, subscribes to the principles of equality in compliance with the legal order of the Czech Republic, and in particular with Act No. 2/1993 Coll, 198/2009 Coll., Act on Equal Treatment and Legal Means of Protection against Discrimination and on Amendments to Certain Acts (Anti-discrimination Act); and Act No. 262/2006 Coll., Labour Code.
