On Tuesday, 14 October 2025, MUDr. Jan Škvařil, Ph.D. was appointed Head of the Department of Paediatric Surgery and Traumatology at the Bulovka University Hospital and the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University. Jan Kvaček. The existing Department of Paediatric Surgery and Traumatology became the Department of Paediatric Surgery and Traumatology of the FNB and the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University.

The new technology represents one of the most advanced total lab automation systems in the Czech Republic and significantly shifts the standards in the field of laboratory diagnostics.
