New mammography with artificial intelligence is more gentle and even more accurate

The Bulovka University Hospital has a state-of-the-art digital mammography machine that combines cutting-edge imaging technology with artificial intelligence. The new machine was put into operation at the Radiodiagnostic Department within the Mammography Centre of the FNB. It brings patients the highest quality of diagnostics with minimal radiation burden.

Our neonatology received a new bed for transport and resuscitation of newborns

On 10 June, the Neonatology Department of Bulovka University Hospital took delivery of a new Babyroo® TN300 heated bed. The unique device, worth one million crowns, was purchased thanks to the support of the LuckyBe Foundation, which is backed by the well-known presenter and patron of the ward Lucie Borhyová. Representatives of the fund, donors and the management of the Bulovka Hospital gathered at the hospital to present the gift.

Bulovka checked its preparedness for crisis situations

On Wednesday, 28 May, a large-scale tactical exercise of the Integrated Rescue System (IRS) called TRAFO HOSPITAL 2025 took place on the premises of the Bulovka University Hospital.The aim was to test the preparedness of the hospital and the intervening units for an extraordinary event associated with a power outage and the need to evacuate patients.

We have opened a specialised unit for interventional radiology

Bulovka University Hospital opened a new Department of Interventional Radiology, the key component of which for minimally invasive medical procedures is a state-of-the-art hybrid operating room equipped with the latest computed tomography (CT), ultrasound (ultrasound) and angiography technology combined into one unit. The commissioning was also attended by the Minister of Health of the Czech Republic, Prof. Vlastimil Válek, M.D., CSc., MBA, EBIR, who highlighted the importance of the department for the Czech healthcare system.

Bulovka succeeded in the prestigious IT Project of the Year competition!

The IT project of the year 2024 in the category Process-managed hospital was the digitalization of approval processes at Bulovka University Hospital (FNB). The title Finalist of the 22nd  year of the IT Project of the Year competition was awarded by the Czech Association of Information Technology Managers (CACIO), together with a diploma for contribution in the field of ITSM from the IT Service Management Forum. A big thank you to the FNB digitalization programme team and to Neit Consulting, which implemented the Team assistant platform in the hospital.
