Attendance Hours:
Mon-Fri 2.30-5.30pm
Sun-Sun, holidays 13.00-20.00

In exceptional cases it is possible to realize a visit outside these hours, but always after agreement with the attending physician. We recommend a smaller number of visitors (max. 2), as more extensive visits are more likely to burden the sick child and also disturb other patients. In addition, the clinic's space availability is limited. Kindly use the above mentioned visiting time rationally (it allows for several family members to take turns) and keep in mind that especially patients fresh from operations or injuries need rest. Bringing any food or treats to hospitalized children risks violating the treatment regimen. From drinks, it is possible to bring unsweetened mineral water or still table water to the child. Other beverages may also interfere with the diet.

Information about the condition of the patients

Ahead of each room in the inpatient station there is a board where you can find out who is the attending physician in that room and what phone number you can reach. Due to the usual operation of the clinic, it is advisable to enquire about your child's health status between 14.30 and 15.00, when the attending physicians are usually engaged in administrative activities. Please note that these times are not fixed and your child's doctor may be operating or working in the outpatient clinic. For most of the visiting time, the on-call service is already in progress and doctors attend to acute cases during this time. Therefore, they often cannot give you information immediately. Telephone information is not legally appropriate. It can only be used after prior verbal agreement with the attending physician. You will be informed in advance of your child's discharge. On the appointed day, it is advisable to inquire at the nurses' office, where the nurse will confirm your child's discharge, but may not give you information about his/her health condition.
