Department of Health Care Reimbursement

The Health Insurance Department belongs to the Economic Department and consists of 4 departments.

The Department of Contractual Relations with Health Insurance Companies ensures contact with all health insurance companies, concludes contracts, updates contracted services, medical equipment and service providers.

The Department of Methodology and Accounting of Health Insurance Companies familiarizes with the new methodology of the VZP. It prepares billing reports from health insurance companies, invoices for health care provided. It prepares information for the ÚZIS, the Ministry of Health and the management of the Bulovka University Hospital.

The Coding Department, which codes hospital cases according to the current CZ DRG methodology.

The Department also includes the Production and Consumption Management Department, which is responsible for analytical support to the hospital for its effective management.
