Department of Clinical Psychology 

The department within the Bulovka University Hospital provides:

  • Care for hospitalized patients in all departments of the hospital.
  • Ambulance of clinical psychology for children and adult patients.

Ambulance: MON-FRI 8am-4pm (by online appointment ).

In the case of urgent and urgent care, it is necessary to contact the Crisis Centers (non-stop operation, no appointment necessary).

Psychological and psychotherapeutic services are covered by health insurance companies. The hospital has established contracts with all health insurance companies.

The Department of Clinical Psychology is an accredited workplace for clinical psychologists in pre-testing training.

Provides psychological consilient assessment and supportive psychotherapeutic care for inpatients already hospitalized. If needed, outpatient psychological care can be arranged.

Provides individual, couples and group psychodynamically oriented psychotherapy. Within hospitalizations, she works mainly with patients from HIV Centre and Infectious Diseases Clinic of Bulovka Hospital. In outpatient clinic she focuses on quality of life and social support, HIV/AIDS issues. The target groups include mainly clients in acute personal crisis.

He heads the department of clinical psychology. He is the guarantor of the SPIS project.

Building 16
Psychotherapeutic and crisis intervention for outpatients and inpatients (Radiation Oncology Clinic) usually focuses directly on specific symptoms and problems related to the disease and its treatment: Reduction of anxiety and depression, alleviation of feelings of isolation, helplessness and hopelessness, more open communication with loved ones, increased compliance and better collaboration with the medical team. The scope and length are guided by the patient's needs and his/her overall health status - short-term (in the range of a few meetings over a period of weeks) serve to bridge a difficult period in a certain phase of the illness, long-term (in the duration of several months to years), offer a systematic, comprehensive solution to a personal situation. It is also possible to work with family members of patients.
