Department of Clinical Psychology

The department within the Bulovka University Hospital provides:

Care for hospitalized patients in all departments of the hospital.
Ambulance of clinical psychology for children and adult patients.

Ambulance: MON-FRI 8am-4pm (by online appointment ).

In the case of urgent and urgent care, it is necessary to contact the Crisis Centers (non-stop operation, no appointment necessary).

Psychological and psychotherapeutic services are covered by health insurance companies. The hospital has established contracts with all health insurance companies.

The Department of Clinical Psychology is an accredited workplace for clinical psychologists in pre-testing training.

Provides individual, couple and group psychodynamically oriented psychotherapy. In the context of hospital admissions, she works primarily with patients from the HIV Centre and the Infectious Diseases Clinic at Bulovka University Hospital. In the outpatient clinic, he focuses on issues of quality of life and social support, as well as HIV/AIDS. His target groups include, in particular, clients in acute personal crisis.

She heads the Department of Clinical Psychology. She is the project lead for SPIS.

Psychotherapeutic and crisis intervention for both outpatients andinpatients (Department of Radiation Oncology), the focus is usually directly on specific symptoms and problems related to the disease and its treatment: reducing anxiety and depression, alleviating feelings of isolation, helplessness and hopelessness, more open communication with loved ones, improving compliance and better cooperation with the medical team. The scope and duration are determined by the patient’s needs and their overall health – short-term (involving a few sessions over a period of weeks) is used tohelp patients get through a difficult period at a specific stage of their illness, whilst long-term counselling (lasting from several months to years) offers a systematic, comprehensive approach to the individual’s situation. It is also possible to work with the patient’s family members.
