Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic
Welcome to the website of the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine and the 1st Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University in Prague.
We provide comprehensive care to patients in the entire spectrum of gynaecology and obstetrics. We mainly focus on minimally invasive surgery, oncogynecology, urogynecology, pediatric gynecology and oncology. In collaboration with the Intermediate Center of the Neonatal Unit, we provide care for patients with high-risk and physiological pregnancies and deliveries. We promote natural childbirth. We emphasize a professional yet human and individual approach. Our goal is to provide quality professional care in accordance with the findings of modern medicine.
In 2019, Midwifery Center was established within our maternity ward, in which physiological deliveries are managed only by midwives.
