Specialist training

The clinic is fully accredited to provide specialist training in the fields of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (AIM) and Emergency Medicine. We offer those who have completed their basic anaesthesiology training the opportunity to undertake concurrent specialist training in both disciplines at the same time. Every year, we open several residency places for training in the field of AIM.

For doctors from other FNB departments, we organise compulsory placements prior to the completion of their basic specialist training, to the extent necessary to achieve the educational objectives set out in Decree No. 397/2020 Coll. on the training of doctors in basic specialisms, as amended. The placements take the form of a five-day intensive course comprising lectures, simulation-based training and placements at individual departments within the clinic. Placements can be booked via the internal Reenio booking system (up to 8 days before the start of the placement). 

The following dates have been announced for 2026:

  • 12 to 16 January
  • 13 to 17 April 
  • 15 to 19 June
  • 7 to 11 September
  • 26 to 30 October
  • 14 to 18 December

The following dates have been announced for 2027:

  • 15 to 19 February 
  • 29 March to 2 April
  • 7 to 11 June
     

We can only offer placements to doctors from other healthcare facilities if there is spare capacity. To book a date, please contact the clinic’s secretariat by email staze-kaium@bulovka.cz
