Internships 

Are you interested in an internship at Bulovka University Hospital? 
Arrange the exact date at the relevant clinic or department and send the necessary documents to the Education Department at least 30 days before the start of the internship. We will then prepare a draft contract for you.

Prices of internships and certification exams are governed by the valid price list of the FNB.

Internships within specialisation training

(basic strain, own specialized training, extension branch, professional module)

The internship can be realized on the basis of a concluded contract exclusively between Faculty Hospital Bulovka and the sending health facility (HF), which is also the employer of the intern.

Required documents in the case of payment by ZZ:

  • Internship Order - fully completed, acknowledged and signed by the ZZ
  • Photographs (even in electronic form) on name badge

Internships/training

In the case of an internship or training that is self-funded, i.e. not sent by the employer, an individual contract will be created. 

Required documents in case of self-payment:

Intern Order (completely filled), based on the order an individual contract will be issued

  • Photographs  (also in electronic form) on a name tag
  • Proof of highest education/professional/specialised competence
  • Accident insurance for the duration of the internship
  • Liability insurance for damage caused during the internship, incl. damage caused to the provider's property, in the scope of insurance benefit in minimum amount of 100.000 CZK

Approval Examination

Doctors - practical part 6 months

The Bulovka Teaching Hospital is an accredited facility for the completion of professional practice in the practical part of the qualification examination (AZ) of doctors in the length of 6 months. 

The capacity of doctors providing direct professional guidance over the practical part of the certification examination is limited, therefore it is necessary to check the possibility of completing this professional practice at gabriela.vankova@bulovka.cz. 

In the case of confirmation of the possibility of realization of the AZ: 

  • The candidate for the AZ then contacts directly the practice guarantor and agrees with him/her on the date of realization and the assignment of the doctor in charge of the direct professional guidance for a period of 6 months.
  • The practical part of the AZ includes practice in the following departments: CHIR, ARO, GPK, PED and INT. Here too, it is necessary to arrange a date for implementation at the respective clinic/department.

Required documents for AZ:

  • Copy of the Decision of the Medical Practitioner 
  • Internship Order (completely filled), an individual contract will be issued based on the orders
  • Photographs  (also in electronic form) on the name badge
  • Copy of travel document
  • Accident insurance for the duration of the internship
  • Inship liability insurance, incl. damage caused to the provider's belongings, in the scope of insurance benefit in the minimum amount of 100.000 CZK.

Health worker

Faculty Hospital Bulovka provides the opportunity to undergo professional practice in the practical part of the certification examination.

The capacity of staff providing professional guidance in the practical part of the AZ is limited, therefore it is necessary to verify the possibility of undergoing this professional practice at the address gabriela.vankova@bulovka.cz. 

In case of confirmation of the possibility of realization: 

  • The candidate for AZ will then contact directly the practice sponsor of the selected clinic/department.They agree on a date for implementation and the assignment of a"worker qualified to practice the relevant profession without professional supervision" who will be in charge of direct management for the required period.

Required documents for the AZ:

  • Copy of Decision on the authorization to practice "practical nurse in the territory of the Czech Republic"
  • Intern Order (completely filled in), on the basis of the order an individual contract will be issued.
  • Photographs (also in electronic form)on the name tag
  • Copy of travel document
  • Closed accident insurance for the duration of the internship
  • Closed liability insurance for damage caused during realization of the internship, incl. damage caused to the provider's property, in the scope of insurance benefit in minimum amount of 100.000 CZK
